Donna M. Bond

Donna Marie Harms Bond, 86, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, after a courageous victory over Alzheimers.  Donna peacefully passed at her son’s home in Adolphus, Kentucky. Donna was born on July 11, 1936, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Hershel and Bernice Harms.   

Donna was a member of the Lady Eagles and was a flight attendant for Alleghany Airlines.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband Austin Richard Bond.  She is survived by her sons Kevin (Debbie) Bond, Robert (Ronda) Bond, Michael (Elli) Bond, Bhaskar (Cindy) Mukherjee, and Vinod (Gita) Khilnani.  Her grandchildren Justin Bond, Robbie Bond, Serena Bonn, Brandi (Nick) Bond, Amber (Chad) Bond, Chad (Kelci) Mukherjee, Ann (Patrick) Tobler, Sheena (Steve) Zent, and Sabina Khilnani.  In addition, she was blessed with a number of great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 11am-1pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home.   A Celebration of Life service will begin at 1pm in the Chapel at the funeral home with a committal service following at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.  A reception will be held following the committal service at the funeral home.

The family requests that those attending wear bright colors and no black.
