Donald Jackson Stringfellow, 86, of Hendersonville passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at his home. Don was born on April 14, 1930 in Eagle Lake, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents, O.T. and Lena Terrell Stringfellow and sister, Margaret Sasser. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved bride of 63 years, Pearlie Mae of Hendersonville; daughter, Laura Vincent of Adams; sons, Greg (Darlene) Stringfellow of Hendersonville, TN, Doug Stringfellow of Louisville, KY, Philip (Marie) Stringfellow of White House, TN; grandchildren, Brandon (Kayce), Joshua (Dallas), Jacob, Ryan (Kristmar) , Matt, Kelsey, Erin (Jordan), Megan, Jack, Garret (Andrea), Nathan, Daniel, Karleigh, Kaylah and 10 great-grandchildren.
Don loved the Lord with all his heart and soul. He started his love of music working in 1951 with the Stamp Baxter Quartet and several years with the Swanee River Boys. He loved to RV, spend time with his family, tune pianos, and work on Hammond Organs.
A celebration life service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 2pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home with Ryan Vincent officiating. Entombment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens Chapel of Memories Mausoleum. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Wednesday beginning at 11am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
