Delores Crawford

Delores Crawford, 91, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.  Delores was born on November 22, 1932, in Lonaconing, Maryland to Hugh and Ellen (Thompson) Beeman.

Delores was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She loved to crochet making and sharing Afghans with family and friends.   Delores loved to play the piano and played joyfully for her church.  She was a fabulous cook and was known for her Sunday dinners after church.  Her most notable dishes were her roast beef, broccoli casserole, and “Shaggy Dogs”.  She was good to a lot of people and a friend to many.  Delores loved her family.  Her love, laughter, and sense of humor will be missed.

Delores is preceded in death by her parents Hugh and Ellen Beeman along with her five brothers and sisters, and her dogs Dee Dee and Chanel.  She is survived by her loving husband Donald; son Gary Donald Crawford; grandson Gary (Garrett) Crawford; granddaughter Chulita Crawford (Jeremy Dhume); 3 great-grandchildren Roman Dhume, Corbin Dhume, and Eli Warner. In addition, she is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 1pm-2pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home.   A funeral service will begin at 2pm in the Chapel at the funeral home with entombment to follow at the Mausoleum at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
