Deborah Ann Stewart, age 65, passed away on March 16, 2024 in Columbia, Tennessee. She was born on June 10, 1958 in Madison, Tennessee to Elizabeth Miller Sievers and the late John Thomas Miller, Sr. Debbie is also preceded in death by her grandparents, Annie M. Rush, James L. Harrison, Esther Gray Miller, and Johnny Kirby Miller.
Debbie is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Michael Wayne Stewart; loving children, Shelly Morris (David) and Dwayne Stewart (Lauren); mother, Elizabeth Miller Sievers; grandchildren, Hannah Michelle Morris, Kaitlin Rose Morris, Allison Grace Morris, Henry Stauffer Stewart, and Sully Morris; brother, John “Bubba” Miller (Deborah); numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Deanna McHendry, Lynn Duncan, and Janice Klitzing.
Her caring nature and servant heart touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her. Debbie was a devoted caretaker, always putting everyone else first before herself. She exemplified kindness and patience in all she did.
Debbie found joy in the simple pleasures of life – from hand knitting cozy blankets to painting with her beloved granddaughters. She also enjoyed crafting, baking delicious treats for her family, and was a skilled softball player.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. with a one-hour visitation prior to the service. Burial will take place at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
Gary Wey, Mike Wright, Lance Groves, Mike Klitzing, Cory Miller, John Charles, Wesley McGehee, and Austin Gregory will serve as pallbearers.
