David L. Stacy, 65, of Gallatin, TN, passed on Saturday, October 6, 2018.

David was born to Lawrence and Vivian Stacy, on September 7, 1953, in Williamson, WV. He graduated from Belfry High School in 1972. He married Linda Young in 1972, and they enjoyed 46 years together as husband and wife. Together they raised 2 children.
He leaves as his legacy 1 child: Andrew Stacy (Laura) and 3 grandchildren: Evelyn, Emma, and Jack. He also leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Vivian, and 1 brother, Dwight (Rhonda) Stacy.
He was preceded in death by Melanie Stacy (daughter) and Lawrence Stacy (father) and James and Lucy Young (in laws).

David's only hope in life and death was that he belonged body and soul to his faithful Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a faithful member of the Hendersonville First Baptist Choir for many years. David was a lifelong salesman until he retired in 2014 and was passionate about knowing and taking care of his customers. He was named Salesman of the Year for the Magid Corporation in 2010.

Visitation is scheduled from 11:00-2:00 on Tuesday, October 9 at First Baptist Church, Hendersonville, TN with a service to follow at 2:00. A burial service will follow at Hendersonville Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Dr. Steve Nelson will officiate the ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the S.O.S Backpack Ministry of FBC Hendersonville or the Gideon's International. The family would also like to thank the staff at NHC Gallatin and Caris Hospice for their tremendous care in these last few months.
