David Raymer

Mr. David Scott "Dave" Raymer age 78, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020.

Mr. Raymer was born in Akron, OH, on November 20, 1941, the son of the late Walter Scott Raymer and Vera Elizabeth Mitchell Raymer. He served in the United States Navy proudly and was very patriotic. Mr. Raymer retired from Bridgestone Firestone after thirty-seven years of service. After retirement he worked at Outpost Pawn Shop. He never met a stranger and enjoyed entertaining guests. Also, he enjoyed sports and playing his guitar. Mr. Raymer loved Old Hickory Lake where he was avid fisherman.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-four years, Joan F. Raymer, to whom he was married on June 7, 1986; five sons, Jason Raymer (Lara), Jeff Winn (Susan), Steven Winn, Bill Winn (Audra), and Dan Winn (Lisa); a sister, Vicky Willett; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Hendersonville Samaritan Center 116 Dunn Street, Hendersonville, TN 37075.
