Darwin Holt

Darwin Glenn Holt, 57, a resident of Goodlettsville, TN, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022.  He worked as an insurance broker for 22 years.  He was heavily involved in church and Men of Valor.  He loved God and was a dedicated husband and father. As an avid Tennessee Vols fan, he enjoyed weekend trips to Knoxville to watch the games.  He spent many years coaching softball and basketball, loved to play golf, eat ice cream, and go to Waffle House. In the summers, he could be found swimming with his children and grandsons and grilling dinner for his family. He was a friend to all and loved meeting new people.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Katie G. Holt and James “Pete” Holt. He is survived by his wife, Melanie Holt, his children Marcie (Nick) Nitsch and Meagan Griffith, his sister Kathy (Wayne) Rigsby, his grandchildren Hudson and Maddox Nitsch, and nieces and nephews.
