Dale Miller

Mr. Dale Richard Miller, age 90, went to be with his heavenly father Friday, November 24, 2017. He was born August 20, 1927, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, to the late Raymond and Ellen Bemisdarfer Miller. Mr. Miller was also preceded in death by his son-in-law, Bob Hare.
When he was able, Mr. Miller enjoyed hunting both deer and pheasant. He was a very talented craftsman who built a boat in his younger years and also built several homes for family members. His family remembers fondly his love of gardening and his even tempered nature. Mr. Miller worked for Kinney Shoe Corporation for thirty-one years and Wells Fireplace for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Miller; son, Larry Miller (Nancy); daughter, Brenda Shelton (Larry); son, Jerry Miller (Lauri); daughter, Linda Hare; son, Perry Miller (Tammy); grandchildren, James Miller (Susan), Brent Miller (Jacey), Derek Totty (Liz), Ashton Booe (Matthew), Patrick Miller, Cynthia Hampton, Ryan Miller (Jen), Naomi Keuter (Eric), Joshua Gothard, Jason Brunson (Becky), Gabriel Miller and Seth Miller; great-grandchildren, Chase Miller, Clara Cripps, Faith Miller, Madeline Stecher, Milena Totty, Bella Booe, Rachel Miller, Elizabeth Miller, Melissa Miller, Jennifer Miller, Hunter Hampton, Macenzie Carman, Kambrie Miller, Travis Putman, Cadence Brunson and Peyton Brunson; a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9 - 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 28, 2017 with a celebration of life service following at 10 o'clock A.M. at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Brother Perry Miller, Larry Miller and Jerry Miller speaking. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers serving will be Derek Totty, Matthew Booe, Joshua Gothard, James Miller, Gabriel Miller and Seth Miller.
