Mrs. Connie L. Hofmann age 71, of Cottontown, TN, passed away on April 19, 2019.
Mrs. Hofmann was born on February 9, 1948 in Van Wert, OH. The daughter of the late Paul and Marcile E. Giessler. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Andrew M. Elder.
Mrs. Hofmann graduated from Crestview High School in Convoy, OH. She continued her education at Heidelberg University in Tiffin, OH. She furthered her education at Riverside Methodist School of Nursing in Columbus, OH where she graduated as an RN in 1971. She had many nursing jobs, including physician's offices, home health care and administration.
She married Gary W. Hofmann on July 24, 1971. They lived a wonderful life together, traveling and hunting all over the U.S. and Africa. They were married for 47 years. Mrs. Hofmann cared for many individuals in her nursing career from 1971 to 2018. Caring for others was very important to Connie. A loving heart and caring for others came easy for Connie. She was a blessing to all who had the privilege to know her. She was a long time member of Goodnaz where she participated in bible study and volunteered in many areas of the church. She loved her church.
She is survived by her husband, Gary W. Hofmann, two sisters, Sharyn (David) and Jan (Dave) all from Van Wert, OH; brother-in-laws, Greg A. Hofmann, Mike (Lisa) Hofmann, Marc (Becky) Hofmann; sister-in-law, Shelly (Ron) Army; nephews, Matthew (Cary) Smith Brooks, (Kennedy) Elder, Logan Elder, Kurt Ashby, Kyle Army, Adam Army, Blayne Army, Jon Hofmann, Bryan Hofmann, Kristopher Hofmann, Ryan Hofmann, and Gary Hofmann; nieces, Amy (Doug) Geary, Mackenzie Elder Sabryna Ashby, Megan Hofmann, Katherine Hofmann and Misty Army; three great-nieces, Lily Elder, Brylee and Kynlee Geary; and a great-nephew, Aiden Smith.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 26th from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Hendersonville Memory Gardens and Saturday, April 27th at Goodnaz from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 27th at 2:00 P.M. at Goodnaz Church. Entombment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Goodnaz Church Choir or Alive Hospice of Nashville.
