Connie Kathryn Bilbrey

Connie Kathryn Bilbrey, age 81, passed away on April 11, 2024.  She was born on December 28, 1942 in Arkansas to the late Lucille and Harley Johnson.  Connie is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bilbrey.

Connie is survived by her sons, Scott Bilbrey (Elizabeth Bednarcik) and Todd Bilbrey; grandchildren, Holden Bilbrey, Beau Bilbrey, and Ella Bilbrey; and siblings, Johnny Johnson (Geneva), Mike Johnson, and Deone Raco.

Connie graduated from Oak Ridge High School and then went on to obtain her bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Tech University.   She attended First Baptist Hendersonville and was a long-time church choir member.  Connie served as a board member of many local organizations.  She was known for her love of animals, particularly cats and dogs.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home.  Burial will be held immediately following the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sumner County Humane Society or Safe Place for Animals in Connie’s honor.
