Christopher Blake "Chris" Maynard of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on June 1, 2020.

Christopher was born May 31, 2000 in Hendersonville, Tennessee alongside his twin brother, Justin, to Ralph Maynard and Mary Buck.

Chris attended Sumner Academy and Hendersonville High School. For the last two years, he had worked for Lowes as an MST team member. He always had his best foot forward. He loved his family and his Xbox. He loved all his friends and made them easily. Anytime a friend needed him, he enjoyed being there. Being a friend you could depend on was who he was.

Chris is survived by his twin brother, Justin; his parents, Ralph and Mary; his grandmother, Shirley Maynard; his uncles, Kenneth Buck, Joe Buck, and Tony (Debbie) Buck; his aunts, Pam Manilla, Nancy Streeter, Kathy (Dewey) Smith, Patty Buck, and Amy (Rod) Lanter; his cousin, Tori Manilla, and many others. He is also survived by his dog, Nitro.

Chris is preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Maynard and Harold Buck; his grandmother, Dorothy Buck; and his uncle, Larry Maynard.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Monday, June 8, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M and Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday within Hendersonville Memory Gardens. While services are public, the staff asks on behalf of the family that all be mindful of others because of COVID-19.
