Chris Lindroth, age 58 of Hendersonville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 7, 2018. Chris is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Karen, sons, Alex and Erik Lindroth, brother, Scott Lindroth (Katayoun), parents, Edwin and Sylvia (Bilenko) Lindroth, and nephew, Aram. Chris is also survived by his dog, Tango, along with many extended family and friends.
Chris was born on February 16, 1960 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He attended Beloit College and received his MBA from the University of Chicago. He met his wife Karen while in Chicago then moved to Atlanta, where their sons, Alex and Erik were born. Chris and his family then moved to Ohio and finally settled in Tennessee upon retirement. He was Executive Vice President of Sales with Cardinal Health for over 15 years. Chris played basketball in college and was an avid golfer. He was a fan of the Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Cavaliers and recently, the Nashville Predators. Chris enjoyed traveling and scuba diving with his family to Costa Rica and the Cayman Islands. He recently attended Yoga classes, and, with his son Erik, began crafting beer. Chris was also known for rattling off movie quotes and could recite the script of "Caddyshack" from memory. He was a kind, generous man and an obsessive planner. Chris developed a strong faith and was curious, always asking questions to better understand Christianity. Chris will be dearly missed by his family, their "superhero", and by all those that knew him.
A Celebration of Life service for Chris will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Friday, May 11th at 12:00PM. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00AM until the hour of the service.
A Celebration of Life service will also be held for Chris at Christ Community Chapel, 750 W. Sreetsboro Road in Hudson, Ohio, 44236, on Saturday, June 2, at 11:00AM, with a luncheon to follow at the church. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, June 1 from 4:00PM - 7:00PM at the church.
