Charles "Gene" Peyton, age 81, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015.
Gene is survived by his daughters, LuAnne Peyton and Pam Shadowens, grandchildren Blake Garner and Peyton Shadowens along with many cousins and other relatives and friends. Gene is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patsy Rackley Peyton and parents.
Gene enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves, Vanderbilt sports and golf. He also enjoyed watching the Price Is Right, Wheel of Fortune and soap operas with Pam and arguing at the t.v.
Gene was a devoted family man who will be dearly missed by his family and by all those who knew him.

Life celebration for Gene will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 E. Main Street in Hendersonville, with visitation from 12-2 PM, all to be held at the funeral home.
