Charles Hugh Bilbrey, 76, of Hendersonville, TN went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. He was born to the late Fowler and Ethel Bilbrey in Whitleyville, TN on November 16, 1940. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Connie; sons, Todd Bilbrey, Scott (Elizabeth) Bilbrey; grandchildren, Gunnar, Beau, and Ella. He is preceded in death by his brother, Harold "Bullet" Bilbrey; sister, Sue Forkum; niece, Vicki Hogg.

Charles was known as a devoted family man that was steadfast in his Christian faith. He loved his grandchildren with all of his heart and they thought he hung the moon. He was very hard working and was an excellent guitarist. Charles had a Bachelor's degree in Physics and was very intelligent. Charles had a passion for keeping his yard well-kept and tending to his garden. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.

A Life Celebration service will be held in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home from 11am until the hour of service. Bro. Mike Reese will be officiating the Life Celebration Service and interment will be held in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations in loving memory of Charles Bilbrey can be made to Ella's ongoing medical care and prosthetic fund in care of Volunteer State Bank.
