Casper Joseph Russo, of Gallatin, TN, formerly of Huntington, Long Island, NY, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018 at the age of 91. Preceded in death by his son, Richard Russo. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Margaret C. Russo, son Dr. Don Russo (Jenny) of Gallatin, TN, son Dr. Edward Russo (Sharon) of Dix Hills, NY, son Dr. Joseph Russo (Ginny) of Syosset, NY, 7 grandchildren, Andrew Russo, Kathleen Russo, Kelton Carter, Michael Russo, Marni Russo, Samantha Russo, Andrea Russo. Casper is also survived by many loved nieces and nephews.

Casper was born November 11, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY and was a WWII United States Navy veteran.

A celebration of life mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 2nd at 11:30AM followed by burial with Military Honors at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Monday, October 1st from 4:00PM-8:00PM.

Family and dear friends will serve as pallbearers.
