Gerrand, Carolyn Beauchamp Thornton, Age 88, Nashville, slipped peacefully from this life into eternity on October 3. Preceded in death by parents, Dr. Robert and Ruby Beauchamp, sister Mina Higginson and husbands Luther Lee Thornton, Nashville, and Neil Gerrand, Melbourne, Australia. Survived by sons Luther Lee Thornton, Jr. Jody of Arlington, TX and Terence B. Thornton Ann of Nashville. Survived by six grandchildren: Lee III Ruth Anne of Redding, CA, and great-grandson, Lincoln; Brad and Kaycee of Arlington; and Elizabeth, Michael and David of Nashville. Survived by brothers Robert Beauchamp Mary of Raleigh, NC; Nicholas Beauchamp Eva of Gladys, VA; and John Beauchamp Betty of Franklin, TN. Beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend.
