Carolyn Sue Lovins Bobo - Age 81 of Hendersonville, formerly of Paducah, KY passed away on April 11, 2018. Carolyn was born April 17, 1936 in McCracken County Kentucky to the late John and Louise Lovins. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 56 years, Gerald Bobo and a brother, Johnny Lovins. Carolyn is survived by a daughter, Terri Beaubeaux; and son, Jerry Bobo of Nashville.

Carolyn graduated from Augusta Tilghman High School in Paducah, KY in 1954 and graduated from Paducah Junior College in 1956. She attended the University of Kentucky and Murray State University, and began teaching music at Lone Oak High School. Carolyn was united in marriage to her loving husband, Gerald Bobo in June 1959. She taught Kindergarten at Lone Oak Baptist Church from 1969 to 1978, before beginning a career in Advertising Sales with WKYX/WKYQ Radio in Paducah. After moving with her family to Nashville in 1981 she continued her sales career as Account Executive with The Hendersonville Star News until 1995. Carolyn and Gerald were very active members of First Baptist Church of Paducah, KY where they served as Sunday School Directors of the young marrieds and was an active member of the church choir. Upon moving to Hendersonville in 1981, they became active members of Hendersonville First Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling, music and spending time with her family. Carolyn will be fondly remembered by all who knew her as a glowing and positive personality who always would find the bright side to any difficult situation and could light up the darkest hour with her bright smile and infectious laugh.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 10a-2p at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St; Hendersonville, TN 37075) where a celebration of life will follow at 2pm, interment following at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hendersonville First Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org).
