Carol Mcdaniel

Our beloved Carol Marie McDaniel was born June 7, 1944 and gained her angel wings on April 27, 2023 after a long, hard-fought battle with heart disease. She is survived by her husband, Jerry McDaniel, eldest daughter Theresa Chandler and her husband Bubba, youngest daughter Tonya Corley and her husband Eddie; and her most favorite “child” on Earth, Cameo her poodle. Carol is also leaving behind her grandchildren: Elizabeth Parrott and her husband Dennis, Grady Chipman, Nathan Chandler, Matthew Chandler, Gabriel Corley, Nickolas Corley, McKenzie King and Jeremiah King, as well as great-grandchildren: Sophia Parrott, Sutton Parrott, Sam Parrott and Rosalie Chipman. Carol also leaves behind her favorite baby brother, Donnie Anderson and his wife Cindy.

Carol was known as an incredibly smart, classy lady, a devoted wife, a momma who pushed her daughters to be strong and courageous women, and grandmother who could bake the best cookies and beat her grands in a game of checkers at the same time. She loved to laugh even at herself and was fiercely protective of her beliefs. Her love for family knew no bounds so it is with great sadness that we say goodbye for now, but also with peace knowing she is dancing with Jesus and finally pain-free!

Please join Carol’s family to celebrate her life on Saturday, May 6th at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation is from 10 am – 12 pm, with the service beginning at noon. The graveside ceremony to lay Carol in her final resting place will immediately follow.
