Carol Binkley Finney, age 79 entered into rest May 7, 2017. Carol was a native of Benton, K.Y., and moved to Gallatin, TN in 1953, from Bridgeport, AL. Ms. Finney was a graduate of Gallatin High School, Class of 1956, and later attended Draughons Business College; while working at Washington Manufacturing Company as a secretary. Finally, Ms. Finney retired as a secretary from Opry Land Hotel. Carol was very passionate about sewing, especially quilting. She was active in the quilting community, as a member of the Lakeshore Quilters Guild. Carol Finney was preceded in death by her father, Frank Binkley, her Mother, Larue Cothron Binkley, and her brother Cody Binkley. Ms. Carol is survived by her 2 children: son, Charles Finney, of Gallatin, TN, and Daughter Kathryn Finney & Son-in-law, Randell Bugby, of Springfield, VA. Carol is also survived by her grandchildren, Yana and Daniel Bugby.

Visitation will be held Friday May 12, 1-3 P.M. in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home.
Following visitation, A Life Celebration Service will be held May 12, 3 P.M., also in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home.
