Carl Milliken, age 77, passed away on April 24, 2023, in Waco, Texas. Carl was born on April 17, 1946, to Frank and Mattie Lee (Byars) Milliken in Puryear, Tennessee.
Carl loved Alabama football, and travelling, especially cruises. He was a kind and loving man, he never met a stranger and always made those around him feel comfortable, most importantly he deeply loved his family. Carl proudly served his country in the United States Army, retiring after 20+ years. After serving his country, Carl began working at the DuPont Company and retired once again after 25 years of service. Carl never missed the annual Reunion of First of the 12th Calvary Unit held in Branson, Missouri.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mattie; two grandchildren; his brothers Frank Gene Milliken and William H. Milliken and his sisters Lorene Webb, Mary Sue Ellis, and Annie Milliken. He is survived by his loving wife Linda Milliken; son Arnold (Leandra) Milliken; daughters Millaine (Rodney) Horn, Deborah (Marvin) McMillain, and Karen (Vernon) Ashley. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; brothers Jimmy Milliken and Earl Milliken and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
