Carl Parker Cassetty (January 14, 1965 – August 3, 2021)
Carl passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in Hendersonville, TN, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the age of 56. A loving father, husband, and friend, Carl grew up in Hendersonville and enjoyed boating on Old Hickory Lake, cheering on his Auburn football team, Bible study and being with his family. Carl was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, LS and Dixie Cassetty of North Springs, TN, and maternal grandparents, Lester and Jessie Parker of Hartsville, TN. Carl is survived by his wife Kim Cassetty, daughters Caroline Cassetty and Kiersten Castro (Adam) granddaughter Baylor Castro, parents Pat and Jim Cassetty and brother Clint Cassetty (Gretchen).
Carl graduated from Hendersonville High School (1983) and Auburn University (1987).
Carl served in prison ministries, was active in his church and local charities, such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and The Gideons International. Carl was a residential home builder in Sumner County, worked in his parent’s real estate business before moving into commercial construction. Cassetty Construction, Inc. was established in Hendersonville Tn. in 1999 where he and his team have continued to successfully serve the middle Tennessee area.
A celebration of life service for Carl will be held at First Baptist Church Hendersonville, 106 Bluegrass Commons Boulevard in Hendersonville, on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 12:00 PM.
Donations can be made to Fellowship of Christian Athletes or the Nashville Rescue Mission in lieu of flowers.
