Age 83 of Madison, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015.
Camilla served as a Metro County Clerk for many years. She also worked for a time at Third National Bank and concluded her career working with Metro Government in the payroll department. Camilla was also active in the Home Demonstration Club. Additionally, she volunteered much of her time to Hospice through the Prayer Cloths Program. Camilla also invested her time with the Nashville Rescue Mission through her involvement in the Mission Group from her church. She was longtime devoted member of First Baptist Church Hendersonville. Camilla spent much of her life on the go and was ready to go on to her heavenly homeland.
Camilla is preceded in death by her mother, Estle Hargis Freeman; grandparents, Marlin and Elizabeth "Betty" Hargis; great-grandparents, John Lambert and Mary Elizabeth Parker Hargis; husband, James G. Taymon. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Robert Waldron) Whitmore.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, December 17 from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. and Friday, December 18 from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. A life celebration will follow visitation on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
