Bruce Alan Dady, 48, of Brentwood, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, August 21, at Centennial Medical Center after a short illness.
He was born on February 26, 1973, in Lebanon, Tennessee, and graduated from White House High School in White House, Tennessee, in 1992. After graduating high school, he earned an NCAA scholarship to play basketball for Volunteer State University. Bruce was also the proud owner of a successful electrical contracting business, Dady Electric, for 12 years.
Bruce is survived by his mother, Marcia Dady; his daughter Taylor; his son Bryce; and the love of his life, his fiance Ashley Robinson. He is also survived by his Uncle Guy Wilson (Rhessa), Aunt Kyla Wilson (Cody), Aunt Shirley B. Wilson (Pat), and many loving cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Tony Dady, and his grandparents, Cleve A. Wilson and Dolores R. Wilson of Nashville.
Bruce was a man of faith who trusted in God’s plan and cherished time spent with his family. Anyone who met Bruce knew of his contagious smile, charming personality, and uplifting spirit. He had a larger-than-life presence about him that always made a lasting impression. Those who knew Bruce will always remember him for his generosity and selflessness. Bruce loved the outdoors, especially when he was bow-hunting white tail deer. He also enjoyed staying physically fit by working out and being on the softball field.
The visitation will be held from 1-4 P.M. on Saturday, August 28, at Hendersonville Memory Gardens and Funeral Home, 353 E Main St, Hendersonville, with a service to follow from 4-5 P.M.
