Brenda Pass Owens, age 72, of Hendersonville, TN passed away January 18, 2017.

Mrs. Owens is preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Mattie Pass, siblings, Ramona Stacy, Opal Vanover, and Bob Pass.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Johnny Owens, Sr.; sons, Johnny Owens, Jr. (Candy), Joey Owens (Dawn), Jamie Owens (Andrea, fiancé); daughter, Judy Goodall (Bobby); grandchildren, Kelsey, Kyle, and Peyton Owens, Seth and Noah Owens,

Delaney and Grayson Goodall, Anna Beth and Jacob Corkins; brother, Bill Pass, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Owens was a graduate of Cohn High School (1962) and coached softball teams at Center Point Baptist Church for several years.

She loved her dogs, singing in church and listening to music, especially Elvis Presley.

Above all else, Mrs. Owens was very proud of her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who called her "Momow." Anyone who visited her could tell how much she loved the grandchildren from all of the pictures she had adorning her home.

"Momow" will always be remembered as a "giver," finding ways to make sure other people had what they needed, even in the leanest of times.
Visitation for Mrs. Owens will be from 4pm-8pm on Saturday, January 21st, and Sunday, January 22nd
from 2-3pm with a memorial service to follow in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 E. Main St. Hendersonville, TN.

Mike Trotter and Jeff Warden will be officiating.

Inurnment will take place at a later date at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Flowers will be accepted in honor of Mrs. Owens or donations may be made in her memory to The American Lung Association, 1 Vantage Way, #C120, Nashville, TN 37228.
