Today we celebrate the life of Brandon Michael Wix.

During Brandon's brief 33 years he wore many hats but one shining trait shown through with each of those hats. That trait was kindness borne only from deep love. Brandon wore the hats of son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, classmate, and friend to many. He leaves a mother, Sharon, who has felt the warmth of that kindness. He leaves a father, Gary, who knew that kindness in everything Brandon did in his short life. He leaves a sister, Brittany, who shared his kindness. There is really something special about a person who is remembered by grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates and friends as a kind and gentle man.
Brandon graduated from Goodpasture High School and MTSU, where he made lifelong friends; many are here today. His passion was University of Tennessee football and we are sure he was proud of them as he watched them show great effort last Saturday. We rejoice today knowing that he is with his grandmother in heaven who loved him from the day he was born. Brandon, we will miss you and your great kindness, but we are thankful for your life and the joy you brought us all.
