Bradley Eugene Sousa, beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend and mentor, passed away on November 8, 2023, in Austin, Texas, at the age of 62.
1 John 3:18 - 23 says, “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.”
Brad and the life he lead was a living testament to this Scripture. His love for God and for people is what made Brad one of a kind. Whether in the home or in the workplace, Brad lived a life loving not just with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

He also served on the board of AVIXA, the AV Industry’s largest trade association, and was a three-time recipient of the Smithsonian Award for Technology in Academics. Brad was loved and respected by all he worked with.
Deeply rooted in his faith, Brad found joy in ministering to his Park Church family and a men’s ministry called Move the Fight Forward. His unwavering devotion and love for Jesus inspired many to live courageously in their faith.
In his leisure time, Brad found joy in his hobbies. A skillful bass player, Brad had a deep appreciation and love for music, particularly Jazz.
