Bobby Nash

Bobby Nash, age 65, of Hendersonville passed away on January 4, 2024. He was born on April 24, 1958, in Russellville, Kentucky to the late Alton and Anna Mae Nash. Bobby's passion for life was evident in everything he did, and his love for family and friends knew no bounds.

One of Bobby's greatest joys was spending time on the lake with his loved ones. Whether it was water skiing, riding the jet ski, or simply enjoying the sand bars, Bobby enjoyed the beauty of nature. His granddaughters held a special place in his heart, and he thoroughly enjoyed taking them tubing and wakeboarding. The laughter and joy shared during these moments will forever be treasured by all who were fortunate enough to witness them.

Outside of the water, Bobby enjoyed snow skiing, scuba diving, watching the Tennessee Titans play football and traveling. 

In addition to his passion for adventure, Bobby took great pleasure in working on projects around his house. Bobby always loved to help others. His kind soul never hesitated to assist others in need, showcasing both his selflessness and genuine care for others. 

In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his son, Joshua Bryan Nash; and his brother, Glenn Nash. 

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Janet Nash; his daughter in law, Kristina Nash; granddaughters, Blake Nash and Baylee Nash; his siblings, Jerry Nash (Ella), Patricia Stratton (Terry), and Mike Nash (Lauretta). 

Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main Street, Hendersonville, Tennessee). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Hendersonville Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pancreatic Cancer Awareness (pancan.org) or St. Jude Children’s Hospital (stjude.org) in the Nash Family’s honor.
