Bobby J. McClain-SMSgt USAF retired, age 82 passed away after a prolonged illness on July 7, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He served his country proudly for 22 years, and was a decorated veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Rachel McClain; Children, Cheryl (Larry) Stone, Michael (Pam) McClain, Barbara (Don) Parriott; grandchildren, Ryan Stone, Rheanne (Cody) Roberts and Lindsey Free.
A life celebration service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 11am in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Nathaniel Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 4pm-8pm and Monday from 10am-11am at the funeral home.
