Bobbie Jean Elliott, age 91, passed away on February 25, 2025. Bobbie was born on March 10, 1933, to the late George and Grace Darks.
Bobbie dedicated a significant portion of her life to a fruitful career at Oscar Mayer, where she worked from 1971 to 1993.
Bobbie was a member of Calvary Chapel of Long Hollow.
Beyond her professional achievements, Bobbie was an avid lover of flowers, finding joy in tending to her garden. This nurturing spirit extended to her artistic pursuits; she excelled in painting, often expressing her vibrant personality through her artwork. She was a proud member of the Senior Spirits at Delmas Community Center in Goodlettsville, where her talent flourished during painting classes. Bobbie also cherished the time spent playing cards and bingo at the community center, activities that allowed her to foster friendships and create beautiful memories with her companions. Her warm conversations and infectious laughter enriched the lives of those around her, forming bonds that stood the test of time.
In addition to her parents, Bobbie is preceded in death by her son, Cary Elliott; her grandson, Cameron Elliott; her daughter in law, Melody Elliott; and her siblings, Ray Darks, Marie Beasley, Billy Darks, and Earline Randolph.
Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Dianne Hillenbrand (Mike); her son, Darren Elliott (Audrey); her grandchildren, Melody Mahala (Jeremy), Carrie Baird (Chris), and Casey Elliott; her great grandchildren, Nick Gibson, McKenzie Gibson, Addie Elliott, Emma Elliott, Grayson Mahala, and Hadyn Mahala; her great great grandchild, Sage Gibson; and her sister, Linda Roberts.
Visitation for Bobbie will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 2 until 8 pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St. Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075). The funeral service for Bobbie will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 2 pm, with visitation beginning at 1pm. Burial will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens (353 E. Main St. Hendersonville, Tennessee).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.
Bobbie Jean Elliott is remembered for her kindness, her creativity, and her unwavering spirit. She touched the hearts of many and leaves behind a legacy of love and connection that will resonate with those she leaves behind.
