Billy Marcus Hart, age 66, of Hendersonville, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at his residence. He was born on May 10, 1952 in Los Angeles, CA to Dorothy Buchanan Hart and the late Billy Wayne Hart.
Billy loved his family, especially his grandkids. He enjoyed being active and finding home improvement jobs. He worked for the Tennessee Department of Transportation where he was a planner for 38 years before his retirement. He also made the map of Tennessee. He was married to the love of his life, Shirley King Hart, for 42 years and together they have two children. He was truly an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be truly missed.
Billy is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Stephanie and husband, William Fitzpatrick III; and daughter, Michelle and husband William Ulmer; two grandchildren, William Fitzpatrick IV and Jaida Fitzpatrick; mother, Dorothy Hart; and one sister, Brenda Ayers.
A life celebration will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 12-2pm prior to the service. Burial will be in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
