Betty Spray

Betty Jean Dunn Spray of Madison, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at the age of 76. Preceded in death by her parents; Carl and Mary Daniel Dunn, cousin, Kitty Jo Lardino. Survived by her beloved husband Larry, of 58 years, children; Debbie Parker (Bryan), Mike Spray (Annette), Jeff Spray, grandchildren; Jake and Hanna Parker, Kayla Spray and Logan Spray; brothers, Carlos Dunn (Teresa), Donnie Dunn (Michelle), sisters, Margaret Siciliano (Tom Blake), Maryetta Lavender (Ken) and Judy Norris (Brad). Betty is also survived by dogs, Buddy and Toby along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Betty was born on October 5, 1941 in Centerville, TN. She moved with her family to Nashville when she was 14. Betty and Larry were longtime members of Cornerstone Church in Madison. She enjoyed visiting Kitty Jo in Florida. Betty was a homemaker, but her full time job was keeping Larry in line. Spending time with her family was very important to Betty. She loved decorating for the holidays and getting together with her family. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she made sure everyone got a box of Raisinettes and Goobers. Larry described Betty as being "such a sweetheart." Betty will be dearly missed by her family, her Cornerstone Church family, as well as her friends.

A Celebration of Life Service for Betty will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11:00AM, officiated by Pastor Deeanna Wall. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday evening from 4:00PM-8:00PM. Burial will take place following the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will include family members.
