Betty Mackey

Mrs. Betty Mackey age 87, of Gallatin, TN, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019.

Mrs. Mackey was born in Miami, FL, on August 23, 1931, the daughter of the late Leslie Lee and Elizabeth Morgan Lee. She owned and operated Tastee Freeze Diner for many years and worked for the Coffee Station where she enjoyed meeting everyone. Mrs. Mackey enjoyed crafts, crossword puzzles, and board games. She was a Scrabble wiz, reports her daughter. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mackey was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jefferson Mackey and a brother, Leslie Morgan Lee.

Survivors include her two daughters, Louise Jeroslow and Linda Colkitt; a son, David Trimble; and a grandson, Bruce Jeroslow.

Graveside and interment services will be held Thursday, August 1, 2019, at 1:00 P.M., Nashville National Cemetery.
