Betty Doris Deason

Betty Doris Deason, age 85 of Hendersonville, passed away February 24, 2025. She was born May 21, 1939 to the late Lloyd and Annie Deason. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Flossie VanHooser, and Mary Barrow; brother, James Deason. Betty is survived by her children, Donna (Norman) Jones, Sheila Henderson, and Mark (Lisa) Henderson; grandchildren, Joshua (Katelyn) Jones, Elizabeth (Adam) Young, Caleb (Bailey) Jones, Dylan Henderson, Katie Ann Henderson, Jessica (Ryan) Isom; great-grandchildren, Joshua Jr., Aidan, Mary Grace, Jacob, Colton, Sophie, Noah, and Luke; nieces and nephews, Janie (Elwood) Knight, Ben (Sharon) VanHooser, Becky (Barry) Armstrong, Tammy (Jerry) Stokes, and David (Deb) Barrow. 

Betty was a longtime faithful member of Indian Lake Peninsula Church where she was very dedicated to her small group. She was a compassionate caregiver for over 60 years. She dearly loved those she took care of and their families. She was an avid Kentucky Wildcat basketball fan and enjoyed puzzles and gameshows. She was so fun to be with and her family enjoyed cutting up and laughing with her. She was the life of the party when family and friends played board games. Most of all, Betty loved Jesus and continued to call upon His name until He took her to her eternal home. 

Celebration of Betty’s life will be at 1pm on Friday, February 28th at Indian Lake Peninsula Church with visitation from 10 am until time of service. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
