Betty Davenport

Ms. Betty Carolyn Davenport, age 75, of Hendersonville, passed away on May 7, 2019. She was born on July 17, 1943 in Bellwood, TN to the late Edgar and Effie Mae Kent. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Davenport; daughter, Rhonda Collins; and 6 siblings.
Betty was a loving and giving person with anyone she came in contact with who needed help, she was there to give a helping hand. She loved fishing, gardening and spending time with family.
Betty is survived by her children, Kim (Tom) Carroll, Kenneth (Judy) Davenport, Janet (Tyler) Light, and Steve (Amie) Davenport; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and sister, Ella Mae Brown along with numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life honoring Ms. Betty on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Hendersonville Funeral Home from 4-8pm. Hendersonville Funeral Home, Memory Gardens, and Cremation Center are in charge of arrangements.
