Mrs. Betty June Carter age 80, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018.

Mrs. Carter was born in Nashville, TN, on October 23, 1937, the daughter of the late Buford Clifton Hutson and Mary Hollis Colley. She was a member of Nashville Road Church of Christ. Mrs. Carter retired from Castner-Knott as a bridal consultant. She loved her family, traveling, and her favorite saying was "Pray, Study, Socialize, and Give." In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Carter; and an aunt and uncle, Geraldine and Hugh Hutson.

Survivors include three sons, Brad Carter, Chris Carter (Margie), and Donald Carter (Ana); four grandchildren, David Carter, Michael Carter, Rafael Castillero, and Chriss Juliet Castillero; a great-grandson, Caine Carter; three sisters, Mary Ann Ward, Nancy Thacker, and Gayle Villasenor (Joe); and an aunt, Margaret Wright. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 26, 2018, at 11:00 A.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Thursday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
