Betty Branda

Elizabeth "Betty" Branda passed away January 22, 2018 at her home in Hendersonville, TN surrounded by her family. Betty was born July 2, 1928 in Riverside, NJ to the late George and Gertrude Getz. Betty loved spending time with her grandchildren and especially her five great grandchildren. She was also a true animal lover, caring for numerous four-legged friends throughout her life. Betty was extremely proud of her career at RCA and spoke of it often, even beyond her retirement in 1987.

Betty is preceded in death by her siblings, George, Leon, Eleanor, and Frank, her first husband Paul J. Ketchel, SR and her second husband, Louis Branda. She is survived by her son Paul J. (Suzanne) Ketchel Jr.; grandchildren Paul J. (Mary Morgan) Ketchel III, Kristy (Todd) Doherty, and Kimberly (Charles) Agin; great grandchildren Jack, Chase, Lilah, Jacob, and Shelby.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 4-8pm at Hendersonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home (353 E. Main St; Hendersonville, TN 37075). Betty will be laid to rest at St. Peter's Cemetery in Riverside, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary to care for Bagel, a stray dog who held a special place in Betty's heart. (P.O.
