Bertha J. "Joan" Fulmer Meador- age 94 passed away peacefully after a long illness on July 9, 2016.
She is preceded in death by husband, Paul Fulmer; mother, Mildred Bass and step-father, Melvin Bass.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Vicki (Bruce) Gore; her beloved granddaughter, Caitlin Gore; her adored great grandson, Morrison Gore; her sister, Sue (Bob) Patton, and a score of nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Joan lived an active life-devoted to her family and friends. Being a longtime member of Good Shepherd U.M.C. she loved her church and her church family. The family would like to thank the many friends who have been so kind and loving with prayers and other acts of kindness.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 4-6pm and on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 12-2pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
