Mr. Bert Melton Moses, age 83, of Franklin, TN, formerly of Gallatin, TN, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018.

Mr. Moses was born in Lookout, WV, on September 16, 1935, the son of the late Robert Henson Moses and Maude Stokley Moses. He served in the United States Marine Corps, honorably discharged, and retired from Pacific Car & Foundry Company (PACCAR). Mr. Moses was a member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church. He enjoyed doing wood working and served as a master judge through the Kansas City Barbeque Society. In addition to his parents, Mr. Moses was preceded in death by a sister, Delora Fink.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Sadler Moses, to whom he was married on September 13, 1962; a daughter, Glyndal Britt Moses; and four sisters, Duke Walkup, Lee Teubert, Betty Beale, and Patty Irick.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at 2:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home with Dr. Bruce Chesser and Charles Caudill officiating. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens with military honors.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from noon until the funeral hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen have been requested to serve as active pallbearers: Eric Cantrell, Thomas Givens, Byron Lawson, Charles Marshall, Archie McKinnis, and Christopher Templeton. The honorary pallbearers will be Jim Cassetty, Charles Caudill, Mark Connel, Randy Gourley, Travis McCormick, and Dr. Robert Pickett.
