Bennett Austin Sinclair
October 18, 1991-April 25, 2015
Ben went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2015. Though he is now in a better place, he was called home much sooner than his family and friends ever imagined. Loved by too many friends to count, Ben brightened every life that he touched. Those of us who knew and loved Ben mourn his passing but count ourselves profoundly blessed to have had him in our lives. It is those precious memories that will sustain us in the coming days.
After graduating from Pope John Paul II High School, where he was an All-State lacrosse player, Ben enlisted in the U.S. Navy. After leaving the Navy, Ben resumed his education at Birmingham Southern College where he played on the lacrosse team. Ben was also an avid golfer and a member at Bluegrass Country Club in Hendersonville.
Ben's loving family includes Mother Laura Fellman, Father John Sinclair, Brother Andrew Sinclair, Stepfather Ted Fellman, Stepbrother Ross Fellman, Grandparents Bill and Gayle Barnes, John and Julia Sinclair, Scott and Cynthia Kerr, and Bill and Katey Bleckley, and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Visitation will be at Hendersonville Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, and funeral services will be at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, April 30 (with visitation with the family from 10:15-11:15 a.m.)
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Birmingham Southern College Lacrosse Team.
