Belinda L. McClure of Hendersonville, TN went on to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, March 31, 2018. Belinda was born July 13, 1959 in Monterey, TN to the late Carl and Imogene (Lewis) Sweat. Belinda graduated from Hendersonville High School and went on to complete her Bachelors of Science and worked for many years as a Registered Nurse for Pediatrician Dr. Sam Carney and head surgical nurse for Dr. Kush Frenchman in Hendersonville. She was a long time active member and children's church teacher at Hendersonville Church of God as well as the past PTO President at Merrol Hyde Magnet School. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and vacationing with her family, especially in Daytona Beach and Gatlinburg, where she could likely be found enjoying a funnel cake. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted and loving wife and mother with a great sense of humor, and will be missed by all who were blessed to know her. On May 13, 1988 Belinda was united in marriage to her husband of nearly 30 years, James McClure, who survives. Also surviving are her twin boys, Logan and Houston McClure; sisters, Emma (Larry) McElroy, Julia (Chris) Steppee, Carlotta (David) Lee and Sonya Sweat; sisters-in-law, Delores (Russ) Hitchcock and Janet Carpenter; several nieces and nephews. Family will received friends on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 11a-12p at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St; Hendersonville, TN 37075) where funeral services will follow at 12 noon. Interment following the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
