Beauna Tidwell

Beauna Blair Tidwell, age 86, of Portland, passed away on April 22, 2024. Beauna was born on January 16, 1938 to the late Jess and Dora Blair in Kayjay, Kentucky.

Beauna enjoyed Bingo, card games, and listening to old country music. Beauna knew no stranger and was a mom to everyone. She loved to cook and have people over at her home. 

In addition to her parents, Beauna was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Tidwell; and 12 of her siblings. 

Beauna is survived by her son, Kenneth Hamilton; her grandsons, Nick Hamilton (Christie) and Kenny Hamilton; her great grandchildren, Anna, Ashlynn, Matthew, Mason, Trevor, and Rayla; 4 great great grandchildren; sister, Elaine Blair Owen (Eddie); special niece, Melenna Edwards (Wes); and a host of other nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Beauna will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main Street, Hendersonville, Tennessee, 37075). Visitation will also be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. The funeral service for Beauna will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main Street, Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075) with a burial to immediately follow the service.
