Barbara Doris Eaton Maugeri, Age 76, of Hendersonville passed away November 24, 2015.
Barbara was born in Newark, NJ in 1938 to the late Myra Bradshaw Eaton & George A. Eaton. At the age of 14, she met and began dating her future husband, Anton F. Maugeri, Jr., they dated from middle school through high school and married as soon as he graduated from college in 1960 and shared 55 years in a warm loving relationship. She was a strong, loving & quick witted lady that would always tell you her opinion. Some of her interests in life were sewing, bird watching, playing the piano and spending time with her family. She and her love of her family will be greatly and sadly missed by all. May she rest in peace.
Survived by her loving husband, Anton F. Maugeri, Jr.; 4 children, Jeff Maugeri, Linda Malkiewicz (Johnny), Gordon Maugeri (Chrystal), Diana Maugeri (Roger Bandy), 10 grandchildren, Anthony Adam, Devin, Helayna, Gavin, Zachary & Brooklyn Maugeri, Tracie Felker, Christie & Jake Malkiewicz; 3 great-grandchildren, Jayce, Austin & Jayden.
A Life Celebration will be held 2:00pm, Monday November 30th with burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
