Arthur Thomas Ingram of Hendersonville, passed away on Wednesday, December 26th, 2018 at the age of 78. Preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Ruby Ingram and sister, Judy Busby. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Cheryl, daughter, Kimberly Mercer (Scott), grandson, Joshua Dollard, his Yorkie "JJ" along with many other extended family and friends.

Arthur was born on August 22, 1940 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran and a salesman with Industrial Towel and Uniform Services and with Farber. Arthur enjoyed working with his hands and was a master upholsterer. He and Cheryl were longtime members of Faith is the Victory Church in Nashville. Arthur was very fond of Cheryl's cornbread, beans and mashed potatoes. He enjoyed Gospel music and lending a helping hand to those in need. Arthur's wife described him as her precious gift from God and he will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life for Arthur will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Thursday, January 3rd at 1:00PM. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 2nd from 5:00PM -8:00PM and again one hour prior to the service, all at the funeral home. Burial will be held with Military Honors at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
