Arthur S. Campbell- age 71 went to be with the Lord on February 6, 2016.
He was a man of faith who loved the Lord and his church. He was a devoted member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church for 49 years. During his time there, he volunteered as a Greeter, worked in the Nursery, and served as a Boy Scout Leader when his children were young. He retired from Peterbilt after 33 years of dedicated service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Campbell, Sr. and Beatrice Kennedy Campbell and brother, Kenneth Campbell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, LeeAnna Campbell; sons, Rex Thomas Campbell and Arthur Lee Campbell (Briget); daughter, Holly Cherie' Groves (Kent); grandchildren, Christopher and Chase Campbell, Dillon Demontigny, Corey and Brittany Groves, Caroline, Braxton, Kelsey, and Arthur Luke Campbell; great-grandchildren, Colton and Hunter Campbell; sister, Maggie Cobb and nephew, Ken Campbell (Michelle).
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Fred Bracey Sunday School Class.
A celebration of Arthur's life will be held on Tuesday at Hendersonville First Baptist Church (106 Bluegrass Commons Blvd) at 12pm with visitation held prior from 10am-12pm at the church. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will also be held on Monday from 4pm-8pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home 353 E Main St Hendersonville, TN 37075 (615) 824-3855 hendersonvillefh.com
