Anthony Lee Smallwood, 53, of Hendersonville, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021. Preceded in death by his father, Roy Raymond Smallwood, paternal grandparents, Eula Mae Morgan and George Dewey Smallwood, and maternal grandparents, James and JoNelle Hart. Lee is survived by his mother, Nancy Smallwood-Rice, brother, Victor Raygan Smallwood (Wanda), sister, Lisa Lee McPhaill (Terry Woodward), nephews, Robert Daniel Lee, V.J. Smallwood, John McPhaill, Jesse McPhaill, niece, Tiffiny Cardona (Cory), great-niece, Chelsey Troyer, great-nephew, Lucas Smallwood, along with his aunts, cousins and extended family and friends.
Lee was born on August 7, 1968, in Nashville, TN and grew up in East Nashville. He was a painter for Alvin Krantz Painting, along with other companies in the area through the years. Lee loved sports and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Titans and University of Tennessee. He was also a fan of NASCAR with some of his favorite drivers being Darrell Waltrip, Austin Dillon and Richard Petty. Lee loved everyone, especially his family, who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life for Lee will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street, on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 3:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 PM.
