Ann E. Sternhagen, of Hendersonville, TN passed away March 2, 2018. Ann was born May 29, 1931 in Keene Valley, NY, daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Hickey) Hall. Upon graduating high school, Ann attended nursing school and worked for 2 years as a RN in NY prior to having children and starting her lifelong career as a homemaker, mother and grandmother. Ann loved traveling, especially cruising and taking trips with the Senior Center of Hendersonville. She was an active member at Our Lady of the Lake for over 42 years and was actively involved in many church and community activities, including her Bible study group. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bridge and dominos. Ann was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of over 39 years, Carl Sternhagen; brother, Richard Hall and sister, Patricia Hall. Surviving are her children, Mary (Wayne) Lamborn and Paul (Larry Rose) Sternhagen; grandchildren, Nicole Lamborn and Andrew Lamborn; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Monday, March 5th from 4-7pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St; Hendersonville, TN 37075) where a Prayer of Rosary will take place at 6:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 6th, 11am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with interment following, Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
