Angela Christie

Angela Hacker Christie was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on February 28, 2025, in Hendersonville, TN, after a courageous five-year battle with leukemia. She was born on June 24, 1978, in New Bern, NC, and throughout her life, she embodied unwavering faith, love, and devotion to her family.

Angela is survived by her beloved husband, John; her children, Payton, Skylar (Joseph), and Asher; and her cherished grandson, Braxton. She is also survived by her sister, Terri Lynn Barrow, and her brother, Kenneth Ray Hacker. A devoted wife and mother, Angela lived a life rooted in faith and service. As a proud military wife, she faithfully supported her husband through multiple duty stations, creating a loving and steadfast home for her family wherever life took them. She instilled strong Christian values in her children, encouraging them to be active in their community, pursue their passions, and live life to the fullest.

Angela was the heart of her family and the biggest advocate for her husband and children. She wholeheartedly supported her children’s education and extracurricular activities, embracing every role with love—whether as a dance mom, cheer mom, football mom, baseball mom, or wrestling mom. Her presence was a constant source of encouragement and strength.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date to celebrate Angela’s life and faith.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Angela’s memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or Station Camp High School Wrestling, honoring her dedication to both her family and her community.

Angela’s love, faith, and unwavering support for those she cherished will forever be remembered. Though her battle with leukemia was long, she fought with courage, perseverance, and trust in God’s plan. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, resilience, and devotion that will continue to shine through her family.
