Andrew Phillip Looper, age 54 of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017. Preceded in death by his father, Joe Lynn Looper Sr. Survived by his sons Drew and Noah Looper, their mother and Andrew's loving caregiver, Lisa Looper, twin sister Andrea Zayas (Al), older brother, Lynn Looper Jr. and his mother, Ellen Sturgeon. Andrew is also survived by many other extended relatives and friends.

Andrew was born September 24, 1963 in Madison, TN. Andrew was an emotionally strong man who was determined, hardworking and dedicated to his family and being a great father. His sons described his walk having purpose and beliefs that were firm. Andrew stood for what he believed in, had high morals and was a teacher of life. He was passionate, a leader, and independent. He was also a simple man who was observant and had a beautiful, kind heart, and always had a positive attitude.

Andrew enjoyed motorsports which included riding his motorcycle, watching NASCAR, Jeff Gordon being his favorite driver, and working on cars as a body man at Miracle Ford in Gallatin. Andrew also was the owner of Looper Custom and Collision in Hendersonville. He will be dearly missed by his family and by all who knew him.

Life Celebration service for Andrew will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Monday, October 9, 2017, at 1:00pm, officiated by Pastor Brian Winders. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 2pm-5pm and again on Monday, one hour prior to service.
