Albert J. Scott, age 83, went home to be with the Lord and his precious wife, Corinne on March 13, 2016. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Scott; and eleven brothers and sisters. Survived by adoring daughters, Linda Scott and Lisa Scott-Graham; grandchildren, Melissa Reboso, Kylie Prevatt, Kevin Prevatt, and Jenna Graham; great-grandchildren, Tyiah Prevatt, Cameron Oldham, and Caden Oldham; as well as several endearing nieces, nephews, and close friends; including, Mark Rabren and Trish Planitz.
Mr. Scott proudly served the U.S. Army in the 1950s and became an expert sharp shooter. He was a member of the American Relay League for over 60 years. He was an amateur HAM radio operator and earned himself the name "The Woodchopper." He obtained a degree with Devry Institute of Technology and owned several successful businesses along with his wife throughout their 58 year marriage.
Mr. Scott was well known and loved by many. He never met a stranger, and treasured every friend he made along the way. His passions were coin collecting, rock collecting, genealogy, gardening, and a love of nature. He had a green thumb like no other! He was truly one-of-a-kind, and will be deeply missed.
