Albert Crance

Albert Houston Crance was born October 13, 1934 and passed away June 8, 2015 at the age of 80.
Mr. Crance is preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Nola Crance; first wife and mother of their children, Sharon Minor Crance. He is survived by his loving wife, Eleanor Crance; son, Chuck (Julie) Crance; daughter, Judy (Tommy) Martin; Step children, Karen Buckner (Chuck) and Angela Showalter (Buck); grandchildren, Chris (Chasetie), Connor and Carson; Step grandchildren, Stephen Buckner (Alicia), Laura Buckner, Allie Showalter Robinson (Andrew) and Nathan Showalter
Mr. Crance was born in Nashville. After attending Goodlettsville High School, Al joined the Marines and served for 2 years in Korea. After military service, he lived in Hartford, CT and worked for Pratt-Whitney. Al married Sharon in 1956 and started his family with Chuck (1958). He moved his family to Nashville, TN, and Judy was born in 1959. Al moved his family to Hendersonville, TN to a house he built in 1963. He and his family enjoyed camping when the children were living at home and camped all over the South.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Hendersonville Funeral Home 353 Johnny Cash Pky, Hendersonville, TN from 4-8 pm and Saturday, June 13th from 1 pm until the service time at 2 pm. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. (615) 824-3855.
